ICT Thank You

Written by Christine Donnery in ICT, Parents | No Comments »

A massive thanks to all those who gave up their time on Sunday to help out with ICT in the school!
Loads of work was done!  It is envisaged that ICT will support all aspects of the teaching and learning within the school.  The work carried out on Sunday will go a long way towards making this happen.
As always, more help and support is needed.  If you are interested in becoming involved with the ICT Committee, please email Christine at christine.donnery@cetns.org

Thanks again for Sunday everyone!

Dear Parents & Guardians,

We are all looking forward to meeting with you on Friday 10th of June.

Please note:
• Our Junior Infant classrooms are both upstairs.
• Deirdre will teach one class next year. Grace will teach the other class
on the 10th but will not be the class teacher in September. We are
following Dept. of Education guidelines and are unable to appoint the
other teacher until later in June. We will notify you when we know the
teacher’s name.
• The class lists will be on the classroom doors, please check for your
child’s name.
• Your child will be in school for 2 hours (10am to 12 noon). Please give
your child a packed lunch.
• While children are with the teachers, you are welcome to stay
downstairs and meet with other parents. Our Parents Association will
provide tea and coffee. Of course, you may leave the school if you
wish.
• School books will be on sale in another classroom. Douglas bookshop

Session For New Parents & Guardians

Written by Admin in Parents | No Comments »

Carrigaline Educate Together will hold a short introduction to the school and it’s ethos on Monday 9th May at 2.40pm for parents or guardians of children starting school in September 2011.  It will be a shortended version of the same session already held in February and will take place at the school.

This session is only intended for those parents or guardians who were unable to attend the previous session.  This shortened session will not cover anything not already covered in the full session back in February.

There will be a welcome morning for new Junior Infant children held on June 10th from 10am to 12pm.  This is an opportunity for the children to visit and see their new school. We will send out more information about this closer to the time.

Kind Regards,
Ralph Depping – CETNS Enrolment Officer
