Co-educational and committed to encouraging all children to explore their full range of abilities and opportunities,
Child centred in their approach to education,

WHAT KIND OF TEACHERS WILL BE EMPLOYED IN THIS SCHOOL?
Qualified national school teachers will be employed, as per the guidelines as set by the Dept. of Education & Science (DES). The teachers will be sourced and employed by the Board of Management of the school, with salaries being paid by the DES.

THE BOARD OF MANAGEMENT
All national schools are managed by a Board of Management. This body, which is a legal entity has the responsbility for the day to day management of the school. There is an agreed structure of 8 people for all national schools in Ireland.
Many schools have sub comittees of the Board of Management, which may focus on specific areas like Premises, Publicity/Fundraising or Implementation of Ethos.
