Special Needs Assistants 2008/09
Written by CETNS in General News, Recruitment | 1 Comment »
The Department of Education’s Senior Education Needs Organiser visited our school in November 2008 and allocated our school 32 hours per week for Special Needs Assistance (SNA) support.
Since January 2009 we have engaged two part-time Special Needs Assistants. They help by assisting our teachers with any needs of a non-teaching nature for pupils who have specific learning and/or physical challenges. Both Special Needs Assistants have recognised SNA qualifications.
For more information on the role of an SNA please check out the Special Education & Support Services website.

On behalf of the Board of Management, I’d like to extend a hearty welcome to our 2 new SNAs! Their names are Angela O’Donovan and Lisa Coughlan. We look forward to seeing them working together with our children and teachers long into the future.
Once again, welcome to Angela and Lisa!
