School Site for September 2008

Written by CETNS in General News | No Comments »

One of the most common questions regarding the new Carrigaline Educate Together National School (CETNS) is where will it be located?  It’s up to the Department of Education and Science to provide a permanent site and building for the new school.  We’re hopeful that a permanent building will be in place for September 2009.

With the school getting the go ahead in April an immediate concern has been finding suitable temporary accommodation for opening in September.  We’ve arranged for temporary accommodation in the form of two port-a-cabins to be put behind the Carrigaline United AFC club house on the Ballea Road.  The pitches and club house area are undergoing some major re-developments at the moment and we’re hopeful that everything will be ready in time for the opening of the school in September of this year.
